GojiKids® Shines the Light of Giving on the American Cancer Society’s Camp Surprise

At Camp Sunrise, cancer isn’t a reason for a child to miss out on the fun and excitement of camp, rather, it is just something the amazing kids who attend have in common. Arizona’s Camp Sunrise hosts exciting camp programs for kids, teen retreats, and support services to parents. Children ages 8 to 16 who are either patients or cancer survivors can enjoy Camp Sunrise throughout the year as a one-week summer camp or a fabulous winter-weekend retreat.

The American Cancer Society believes kids with cancer should still be able to be “just kids” and while a child is at Camp Sunrise, cancer is the last thing on their mind. FreeLife applauds the exciting programs and incredible staff at Camp Sunrise, and fully hopes our contribution will help to bring smiles to the faces of their courageous and inspiring campers.

GojiKids® Reaches Out to Children in Need, Joining Forces with Concordia Children Services

During his recent tour of the Philippines last March, FreeLife’s President and Co-Founder Kevin Fournier presented a generous contribution on behalf of GojiKids to Concordia Children’s Services (CCS). Concordia Children’s Services (CCS) first began its mission of caring for children in August, 1983 as Bahay Hand-in-Hand, a receiving home for orphaned, abandoned, and neglected children needing temporary care. Acting in partnership with and-in-Hand, an adoption agency in Colorado, its first home was located at Philam Life Village, Las Pinas.

At Concordia there is an underlying belief that very child has a loving family where he/she is nurtured and given the opportunity to grow and develop into a mature, caring, and responsible individual. Concordia’s committed staff responds courageously to the various needs of children, and their families, so they may have hope for a better future by developing their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. CCS strives to provide quality temporary care to abandoned, neglected, and orphaned children until they are placed in permanent homes.

Concordia assists in many different facets of life including residential care, a program for street children, and a comprehensive foster care system. FreeLife sincerely hopes their considerable contribution goes far in providing additional relief to these beautiful children who deserve so much.
